This is a complete systematic approach to learning the guitar for the homeschool curriculum. It is really 4 books in one- an instruction book, a Song book and a Melody playing/theory book, Curriculum guide and workbook. The complete set comes in a three ring binder divided into sections and sells for $45 and includes a CD titled "Jam with the band". The CD has 63 Christian tracks to play along with. The lesson book starts with individual chords and has photographs, diagrams and EZ chord forms for younger students. The melody playing section teaches the reading of music, counting rhythms and the notes on the guitar. There is a second CD with the melody playing exercises. Notes are introduced one string at a time with exercises for each string and melodies using a combiation of strings. Timing, Note durations, Chord families and Keys are taught in an easy to understand method.
Most important is that this book brings Glory to God in its song selection as well as scripture passages throughout its pages.
